Rome
Hotel
An atmosphere of luxury and exclusivity created through interior design, combining the highest level of craftsmanship with well-established experience in creating prestigious spaces.
AB Italia handled the complete fit-out of a historic hotel in the capital, housed in a 19th-century building and a symbol of the Italian Dolce Vita of the 1960s, when Rome was a crossroads for Hollywood stars and internationally famous figures, drawing inspiration from Art Déco in its most refined form.
Every element carries the importance of a unique and precious piece, each one an artistic creation in its own right, making every room unique and personalised. The exclusivity of the hotel and the luxury of its rooms and suites can be recognised in the generous scale of the spaces and the meticulous attention to detail, in the selected materials and precious fabrics, in the most refined comforts and in the excellence of its hospitality.
A passionate and cultured stylistic and architectural research led to a balanced fusion of hospitality and elegance. Déco inspiration can be found throughout, but especially in the stone and parquet flooring, the inlaid marble, and the furniture pieces decorated and inlaid with rare and precious wood essences such as mahogany, aged mahogany, rosewood and Macassar ebony, often with a glossy finish and enriched with silver and mother-of-pearl details.
The final result presents spaces furnished in a way that blends perfectly with the functionality of the most innovative technology. A magnificent dome in the hotel lobby was also designed to light the space below while allowing guests to admire the famous sky of the Eternal City.
