Private Residence
Its architectural style recalls a historic nineteenth-century mansion, and by extension the properties of families with ancient noble origins. This private residence, framed by the greenery of centuries-old trees and home to a pool with sinuous lines, offers interiors of truly extreme refinement and luxury.
Pristine, fine marbles are paired with luminous wood panelling enriched by artistic friezes and gilded decorations. The refined luxury of the home is further underscored by frescoes reminiscent of ancient residences and statues with classical lines, which are among its most valuable and memorable features.
Red is one of the recurring leitmotifs: it appears in the elaborate inlays of the marble floors, in the crystals of the large ceiling chandeliers, in the fabrics covering part of the furniture and upholstered pieces chosen to complete the rooms, and in the precious rugs and refined accessories that round everything off. The skilfully crafted balustrade accompanying the wide marble staircase is entirely in wrought iron finished in gold leaf.
AB Italia was also responsible for designing the entire lighting system for every room and interior space. Among the most sought-after distinctive touches is the use of amethyst in the master bathroom, which lends the space an extra, almost “tailor-made” level of care.
