Oak wood is the true protagonist of the entire residence. This refined wood proves to be the main interpreter of the meticulous fit-out of the residence’s many rooms, sharing the living scenario with precious Calacatta marble and the most carefully selected fabrics.

The boiserie entirely cladding the walls of this spacious private home is made of treated oak, often enriched with carvings, friezes and decorations, some finished in gold leaf. In the double-height living area, the oak is paired with large slabs of Calacatta marble and frames Baroque furnishings rich in carved detail, together with sumptuous chandeliers in white and blue crystal.

A large fireplace, big bright mirrors and wall light fixtures reminiscent of Europe’s most noble residences of the past, also in white and blue crystal, complete the space. In the transitional areas, the oak is instead paired with fine fabrics, silk and velvet.

French windows, accompanied by grand curtains and elegant art-glass windows with geometric designs, light the luxurious reception rooms. In the sleeping quarters, oak wood gives up its leading role to lacquered boiserie with fabric inserts, which frame elegant furniture pieces, richly worked and carved, complemented for dramatic effect by rich curtains and elegant velvet drapes.
