The vivid colours of the frescoes, which make the wide ceilings of the various rooms so precious, are one of the distinctive features of this important private residence, conceived in the image of a noble palace. After the customary historical and iconographic research, a prerequisite for any undertaking, AB Italia first handled the construction of the majestic exterior, with a façade enriched by marble and friezes, fluted columns, and a wide staircase leading inside.

The sumptuous interior is illuminated not only by the large windows but also by the countless shades of white in the rich wood panelling, adorned with elaborate decorations, including gold leaf, and polished brass inserts. The gleam of the marbles, combined with one another in beautifully crafted floral inlays, is framed not only by the pristine panelling but also by sculptural pieces in lacquered wood reminiscent of the statues found in ancient residences.

The choice of white for floors and walls is therefore a “pretext”, allowing the eye to linger and admire the countless shades of colour that characterise the frescoed ceilings.

The photos taken during the course of the work confirm the accuracy and commitment required to realise even the smallest details, and the artisanal expertise, in the highest sense of the term, always synonymous with exceptional manual skill and outstanding execution.
