Private Residence

The geometric figure of the octagon is the distinctive mark and recurring key that identifies every room of this private residence, built entirely around the soft, neutral tones of natural colours. It begins with the entrance doors, which feature an octagon shape in wrought iron paired with the softer image of a central circle, and continues through to the octagonal alabaster and brass inserts that characterise both the wood panelling and the interior doors.

The octagon shape is echoed again in the wrought-iron structure of the domed art-glass skylight found in one of the interior rooms. Everything is further enriched and embellished by the constant pursuit of the finest finishes, such as the headboard panelling with alabaster accents and soft leather padding. The Calacatta marble flooring, too, with its characteristic veining, lends elegance and refinement to the visual image of the whole space, which comes across as absolutely unique and exclusive. Artworks, carefully placed throughout the interior spaces of both the living and sleeping areas, complete the excellence of the project, which was conceived and executed down to the smallest detail, always with the aim of combining form and function.
