Congress Centre
Architecturally imposing and dramatic, a congress centre and multifunctional space designed and built to host major events and conferences, including those of international scope. AB Italia conceived a structure with deliberately sinuous and rhythmic lines that recall the principles of organic architecture, lending lightness and harmony to the image of this important building, in full harmony with its surrounding context.
Inside, a succession of spacious halls and common areas, suited to every type of gathering. All the large spaces were conceived to be, in turn, exclusive and elegant environments, enriched with precious objects and fine furnishings, yet also functional and comfortable.
The construction of this imposing structure relied exclusively on highly selected materials, expertly combined with one another: marbles and fine timbers that favour a strong sense of materiality, paired with refined woods and highlighted by details and inserts in brass and leather, also combined with each other.
Precious rugs, welcoming and elegant upholstered furniture, refined carpeting and sophisticated wood panelling complete the furnishing of the halls. AB Italia also designed the entire lighting and sound system, and a continuous, elaborate interplay of light is enhanced throughout by dramatic ceiling chandeliers and distinctive wall light fixtures.
