The lobby of this private bank built in the United Arab Emirates had to convey a sense of comfortable waiting, while still meeting the very highest standards of professionalism.
The project, designed directly by AB Italia’s architects, called for conceiving, down to the smallest detail, a professional space that nonetheless had the contours and colours of the lobby of a luxury hospitality venue, ideal for offering its exclusive clients every kind of comfort and ease.
The very tall available walls were thus clad in refined wood panelling, also enriched with tone-on-tone carved wood decorations or brass inserts that illuminate entire sections upholstered and covered in fine leather. The flooring is in dark marble, warmed by large, soft rugs.
Completing the sense of both functionality and comfort and welcome are elegant upholstered pieces covered in selected fabrics and impressive chandeliers that create soft, subtle plays of light, giving rise to a relaxing atmosphere even in such a particular working context.
