A white space enlivened, for a deliberate chromatic contrast, by a few touches of natural materials and elements, exemplified by the wooden ceiling beams that bring the warmth and strong character of wood.

A triumph of white overlooking the blue of the lake and the green of the mountains that frame and set the scene for this bright Swiss private residence. Indeed, the luminosity of white is the dominant theme, repeated both outside and throughout the interior spaces of the home. The exterior of the villa is entirely in pristine white marble, and the flooring of the living area is again white marble with dark inlays.

Parquet, again rendered in shades of white, covers the floors of the sleeping quarters. The boiserie throughout the home is also white-lacquered and enriched with tone-on-tone friezes and decorations. Many of the furniture pieces are white too, some with more classic lines and volumes set alongside others with a more contemporary feel. Marble and onyx, on the other hand, characterise the bathroom, where a large circular Jacuzzi tub takes centre stage.
