An extraordinary restoration of a nineteenth-century building overlooking the magical shores of a lake. The ambitious project involved the renovation and revaluation of an ancient residence and its complete, meticulous restoration. AB Italia handled the entire design and the respectful execution of the works, in order to meet the client’s wishes and requirements.
The images taken during the construction work attest to and confirm the skill and technical ability of the professionals entrusted with carrying it out. The final result is simply astonishing: marbles of very great value are further enhanced by geometric or floral inlays that bring out their chromatic combinations. Finely lacquered wood panelling, elaborately carved and enriched with gold-leaf decorations, alternates with tapering fluted columns crowned with gilded capitals.
The grand staircase, with its soft, sinuous line leading to the upper floor, is aesthetically dramatic and imposing, accompanied by a decorative wrought-iron balustrade and lit by an impressive art-glass ceiling. Furnishings with fine finishes and luxurious drapery complete and enhance the outcome of the project.
