Barbuda

A private residence in one of the most beautiful areas of the Caribbean, with coral reefs, brilliant white beaches and turquoise sea, where one can live amid exclusive beauty while remaining in touch with the lush, unspoiled nature of the place. The entrance welcomes guests with a dramatic staircase whose steps are covered with a green carpet edged with French-style decorative borders.

The staircase winds between two brass balustrades with green malachite handrails, guarded by two marble lion-shaped sculptures with gilded details. The first flight of stairs leads to a large marble bas-relief set against a malachite background.

Malachite also appears in the inlays of the marble flooring, paired with inserts of yellow Siena marble evoking the colour of gold, and in the columns that complete the boiserie wall cladding. The ceilings and boiserie are also enriched with gilded relief decorations.

The grand entrance in wrought iron, brass and crystal is deliberately inspired by the entrance of Buckingham Palace in London. The domed ceiling above the staircase leading to the upper floors is made precious by frescoes, art-glass windows and a crystal chandelier of great scenic presence.

The circular TV room echoes tones of green and gold, with onyx columns crowned by gilded capitals. Green also runs as a common thread through the wall-cladding boiserie and the large inlaid marble rosette, as well as in the touches of colour that enliven the crystal of the elegant chandelier.
