Castle - Private Residence

Between tradition and innovation, a medieval castle entirely renovated. Located within the fascinating Scottish landscape and immersed in scenery with spectacular views, this ancient residence has been brought back to life to welcome residents and guests in an atmosphere with legendary overtones.

Designed to serve as the setting for moments of luxurious living. The renovation of the building included the addition of genuine antique pieces, witnesses of a bygone era whose evocations remain vivid in the present.

Attention to the smallest details and to the materials selected during the long restoration work — above all stone and marble, skilfully combined with one another — were the guiding principles that brought the project to completion.

The warmth of wood, used to create the entirely hand-carved columns, and the false ceilings in bleached chestnut, are just some of the distinctive features that characterise the mood of the rooms.

Of great importance, as well as great visual impact, is the ceiling’s stained-glass window in mosaic-patterned leaded crystal, which illuminates and at the same time enhances and emphasises the living area, where a sculptural fireplace takes centre stage.
