A luxury hotel that welcomes guests with its grandeur, scale and magnificence right from the lobby. The sinuous sculptural chandelier, of extraordinary size, becomes the centrepiece and defining decorative element of the whole space, almost a landmark for guests. The geometrically cut columns are in fact original light fixtures accompanying the two broad staircases leading to the upper floor.

While the floors are made of fine marbles, carefully combined to define waiting areas and guide specific routes, it is the wall cladding that stands out as one of the space’s distinctive features: wood and fabric-on-paper alternate and complement one another, continuously enhancing each other through their refined texture.

The same textural quality is deliberately echoed in the furnishing choices of each individual space: in the bar area, marked by a circular counter with wood fluting and illuminated inserts, and in the buffet area with wood elements and brass details, a precious metal also found in the strips that frame and light the walls clad in fine fabric-on-paper.

An atmosphere of great charm and elegance can then be felt in the restaurant area, whose most dramatic distinguishing feature is undoubtedly the flooring made of onyx and slate.

In addition to the original chandeliers, each aesthetically distinct and poised between installation and sculpture, the restaurant is also distinguished by its bar area, finished in small white tiles reminiscent of old English pubs, amplifying the sense of intimate welcome.

Everything plays on light and the purity of white marble in the hotel’s bathroom, embellished with mirrors and countertop basins and chrome details that amplify its brightness.
